A guide to Token Gating with Aspen
Historically, a potent value prop for holding certain NFTs has been the feeling of community and exclsuive acccess to certain experiences that the collectors enjoy. To do this, holders of the token use their assets to authenticate their presence and partake of a shared communal bubble. The identity API is Aspen's robust solution for developers to implement gating and curation of exclusive experiences for community holders of a token.
Getting Started
Testing the identity API requires that you get authentication details from the publishing API before you can interact with it. So if you haven't, please go to the Getting Started section to request for login credentials.
Once those are gotten, you can pass them into the Auth endpoint to get a bearer token for use across the documentation website.
